島津冬樹
1987年生まれ。多摩美術大学卒業後、株式会社電通を経てアーティストへ。2009年の大学生在学中、家にあった段ボールで間に合わせの財布を作ったのがきっかけで段ボール財布を作り始める。

2018年映画『旅するダンボール』（監督：岡島龍介 / 配給：ピクチャーズデプト）が公開。著書として「段ボールはたからもの　偶然のアップサイクル」（柏書房） / 「段ボール財布の作り方」（ブティック社）がある。Red dot museum Xiamen（中国,廈門）永久所蔵ほか、2023年度より横浜美術大学非常勤講師を務める。令和6年度版教科書「図画工作」3・4下（日本文教出版）掲載

FUYUKI SHIMAZU
born in 1987, is an artist who, after graduating from Tama Art University, transitioned from working at an advertising agency to pursuing his passion. During his college years in 2009, he started creating cardboard wallets when he improvised and made one using cardboard he found at home.

In 2018, a documentary film titled "From all corner" (Directed by Ryusuke Okajima / Distributed by Pictures Dept.) was released, which followed Shimazu Fuyuki's journey. The film premiered at SXSW (USA) and went on a nationwide roadshow in Japan, receiving high acclaim at various international film festivals such as HOT SPRINGS DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL (USA) and NIPPON CONNECTION FILM FESTIVAL (Germany). Additionally, he was invited to participate in art and environmental events in China, including the Shanghai Design Festival. He has authored two books: "段ボールはたからもの　偶然のアップサイクル" (Published by Kashiwa Shobo) and "How to Make a Carton Wallets" (Published by Boutique-sha). Starting in 2023, Shimazu Fuyuki serves as a part-time lecturer at Yokohama Art University.
